Our journey began in 2017, driven by a profound passion for Japanese cuisine. Starting out as a private chef, we steadily refined our craft and vision, which eventually led to the creation of Sakas. Led by Yoshihito Mizuno, a Japanese-Brazilian chef with over a decade of experience in esteemed kitchens across Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, and Belgium, Sakas represents the culmination of years of dedication to the art of Japanese fine dining.
His career, which spans continents, has been fueled by a singular passion: sharing the essence of Japanese cuisine in its purest and most refined form. From the precision of knife work to the artistry of plating, every dish tells a story of craftsmanship, and a commitment to excellence.
The journey to Sakas was paved with experience and innovation, beginning with private dining experiences and the launch of a successful food trailer business. Over the years, Chef Yoshi’s culinary expertise became a sought-after highlight at renowned events, including Tomorrowland, where he was privileged to cater two years in a row.
Today, Sakas is the realization of a dream—to create an immersive omakase dining experience where guests are taken on a curated culinary journey, exploring the very best of Japanese flavors and techniques.
